Red Robin: Key Points from 3Q19

  • 3Q19 comps increased +1.6% (-3.1% traffic/+1.5% price net of discounts/+3.2% mix).
  • Mix benefit from a promotional strategy that resulted in lower Tavern burger sales (9% mix down from 17% last year) and higher Finest burger (highest mix level ever) & entrée sales.
  • Off-premise sales grew +37.3% y/y to a 13.2% mix.
